Today we had to write a sample in 40 minutes

Going to the beach

Feeling excited, my heart was beating so loud I thought I would EXPLODE thankfully I didn't. Today me and my family were going to the beach, we were going there to swim and find some seafood such as Kinna, Mussels, crab, Fish and other sea food.

We hopped into the car and headed straight for the beach. Finally we were there, I could hear the sound of the ocean. Before we had a swim we went on the rocks, I was standing on a very sharp rock and as I went to climb onto the other rock, I slipped and cut my skin then blood started to rush out of my long terrible cut

I found a huge crab climbing up my leg I flicked the crab off and never mentioned It to my family, finally It was time to go home and we all had some fish n chips.

The Story Of The Bombing Of The Rainbow Warrior

The tragedy of the bombing of the rainbow warrior

It was Midnight on July 10th 1925.  2 suspicious men in scuba gear were motoring on a zodiac towards the Rainbow Warrior yacht. On-board there were loads of people partying hard celebrating the 29th birthday of the director of the anti-nuclear movement.

Little did they know these  2 men were spies. Without anybody noticing they swam under the rainbow warrior yacht and attached 2 limpet bombs onto the bottom of the yacht, Pete Will-cox went into the basement  to get more beers for the party while he was getting the beers he had found a hole with water coming in.

He had thought that another ship had hit their boat water was gushing in. he started to investigate  “Abandon ship Abandon ship!”, Everyone  finishing their last beer, Suddenly everybody was pushing and shoving everyone was off the boat except for the  Photographer He stayed on the boat and quickly grabbed all of his gear that  he needed before he got of the yacht.

4 Minutes later the director was just going to get of the yacht, Suddenly the boat Exploded BOOM!!!, Sadly Fernando Pereira had died. The next day everyone that partied last night had remembered all the memories that they had with him.Quite soon after the bombing the NZ president had found the 2 spies that caused the accident.  2 Days later the french government complained to the NZ president if he could have his men back and said if that he could throw them in there french jail for 10 years he had promised. The NZ president had agreed and gave them to the french government but they only stayed in jail for 2 years.

T.M.S Movie Reflection

Taeshell, Mya and I made a movie about love. What I do love about our movie? I think our group was awesome because we got the movie finished in time and everyone participated. Our shots and angles worked really well too, with our fantastic movie. It showed the message of love.

I think the year 5's we used was awesome, but we think that if we used the year 7 or 8 students we would get better acting from them. But overall we think we all did a great job.

Martin Luther King's Speech

Hook: Standing amongst the huge crowd I could sense hope. In 1963 August 28th Martin Luther King (aka MLK) made his speech to try and unite all of us together, and try to make it equal for the black and white people of the United States Of America.

DESCRIBING- All black people were there to support each other and make a change people were trying to make the country a better place for all people. Martin luther king tried to make equal rights for everybody so that all the states could come together and make one safe and happy country.

EFFECTING US- If we were black kids it will affect us in so many ways such as, being slaves for white people and they don’t pay you. using the public toilets when you need to go to the toilet, using different water fountains, segregated and many things that black people can’t do.

The white people demand all black people to sit at the back of the bus. White people get 10x more funding than the black peoples school.

My Goal For 2013 is decimals because their really hard to solve and also math whizz because some of the activities are difficult.

Pinocchio And The Three Little Hobbits

Once upon a time there lived a special little wooden boy named Pinocchio. Pinocchio had everything that he had ever wanted, fame, friends and fortune.

One day this all changed when three little hobbits became really good friends with him. They had discovered that Pinocchio was a rich wooden young man and had plans to rip him off.

Unfortunately Pinocchio had foolishly told them his pin number 0800 232323 for where all his gold and money was stored. He thought that he could trust them. The three little hobbits went to his safe and took all his gold and money.

The following morning Pinocchio woke up and discovered that he had been robbed. Not only did he get robbed but he also noticed that the three hobbits were missing. He looked around his own little castle but couldn’t find the hobbits or any sign of his gold and money.

After he heard all his friends cheering outside his huge castle, he walked outside to see what was going on. He reached the door and heard the three little hobbits bickering over what they done to Pinocchio.

He had opened his door really slowly thinking that the hobbits would eventually give his gold and money back.

When the door was open, all of his old friends gave him a stern look. Meanwhile the hobbits started looking at Pinocchio nervously. Pinocchio just stood there looking angry, as soon as he spotted the hobbits he turned red standing there perhaps rather mental.

After the three little hobbits had noticed that Pinocchio was going purple by not breathing one bit, Pinocchio stood there very still after a while he fainted badly. The hobbits picked him up then they put him on his couch.

As soon as Pinocchio awoke he found the three hobbits, his friends, his money and gold that he had saw standing right next to him, flinching at him as if he would never forgive him. But once he saw how sorry and upset they were he had felt sorry for them. He said to the hobbits “Even though I feel really sorry for all of you, I still will never forgive you for what you have done!”.

My Movie Reflection

Yellow Hat - The things I enjoyed

I enjoyed filming because it is fun and

being with my friends.

Black Hat - Which things didn’t I like.

I didn’t like acting because a lot of people might see our trailer

and i also hated it because we can’t find a soundtrack to go with our trailer.

Green Hat - What was something interesting about this week.

The interesting thing was making music for our trailer

Another thing was watching others movies that they made.

White Hat - What did I learn.

I learnt different angles when making a movie

I also learnt how to make some music on the ipads.

Blue Hat - What can I do better next time.

Something that I can do better next time is make my movies better. Also it would be great to have my netbook connect to the internet.
