Empathy is feeling what others are feeling for an example someones nana died and your nana died as well then you both just went through the same thing. It is the ability to understand or to share the same feeling with others.

Think about yourself think of all the things that you have that other people don’t have, Think of those kids who have nothing imagine what there been through

Art Attack-Team 5 Term 4 Week 1

I am going to introduce you to the most famous artist’s in Pt England. Presenting, Ms Squires, Mrs Nua, Mr Barks, Ms Clark and the lucky last Mrs Langitupu and Ms Paget.

The whole of Point England School was all watching them in our Immersion Assembly with excitement. Some of us even tried to guess what they were painting. They were giving a little performance to show us about the term's topic.

Very gently they were stroking their art with black and white paint, trying to keep their hands as steady as they could. The artists were all wearing berets. There was a song called "Somebody That I Used To Know" and video of fast motion painting playing , while they were creating their different pictures.

Finally they finished. We waited patiently for them to show their masterpieces. As we looked we thought to ourselves, "These look a bit funny. They don't look like anything."
Suddenly the teachers realised that the paintings were upside down. Turning them around the right way we were surprised. Pt England recognised that they were some of the teachers that had been painted. Everyone guessed it right. It was Mr Jacobson, Mrs Jarman and Mr Burt our principal.

As they walked off the stage all they could hear was children cheering as a lion's roar. They all walked of the stage with pride.

Their paintings were amazing. After all the excitement Mr Burt said our karakia for the school. After he finished the karakia it was time to go back to class. Our school assembly was over.
“I think Ms Nua's and Ms Squires's one was the coolest because they are my favourite teachers”.

Today My teacher Ms squires gave us a task to write about a scene of La Luna the animation

One dark calm night the stars were shining on the sparkling ocean. As the man rowed with strength
he was focused staring into the water. He could see his reflection. With each stroke his reflection gets distorted.

This is a photo of my house that I measured.

Adding Detail Writing

Today my teacher Ms Squires gave us a task to add interesting detail to this writing.

Never in my life had I faced such a difficult challenge. I stood in front of the cargo net I felt hot...  I would never be ready for this.

It was Physical Education and there were lots of equipment around. The net was something we all had to do and I needed to at least try to climb it. I was not a good climber, and never had been. I wanted to turn away. But I grabbed the net in my hands and began to climb. I said words to try and encourage myself as I went. I was worried that I might get a rope burn or splinters. I tried not to think about feeling scared of heights. I went more slowly the longer I climbed. I stopped altogether. I felt weak and there was still so much to climb.

I called to the teacher that I was finished. I lowered myself down. I was thinking that I had tried my best. I still most likely cannot climb the cargo net but I was pleased that I had tried.

My heart was pounding with fear, Never in my life had I faced such a difficult challenge It was Physical Education, The net was something we all had to do. I tried to turn away but my hands had a tight grip on the ropes I slowly climbed the ladder feeling slightly  nauseous I tried to think in a positive way, “ Come on you can do this you don't have a long way to go, Until I looked up It felt like I was going to faint thankfully I didn't.

I went even more slower the longer I climbed, my bones and muscles felt weak the determination I had was gone my fear had once again conquered me I called to the teacher that I was finished as I climbed down I could feel defeat as the other children laughed I didn't care because at least I tried My best and gave it a go.
